AFC Henley recently hosted an event to celebrate the roll out of our new kit, which has been made possible by some incredible new sponsors.
In a first for the club, teams at every age group will now have the same home and away kit that has been redesigned thanks to the support of IFX Payments, Volt.io and HotelPlanner.com
As part the deal, every playing member of the club will receive 2 playing shirts, Shorts and Socks, and a personalised Training Top. All to keep and wear with pride at club training and matches.
The new shirts feature our new club crest, designed by Rick Oakley and launched in Henley last December. The shirt design continues to reference our close association to the town and features a representation of a 'flowing' River Thames throughout.
The whole process has been a brilliant example of collaboration, with special thanks to Rick, our Kit Manager Sam Tomkins, Fluro Design and of course IFX Payments, Volt.io and Hotel Planner.
Speaking at the event, AFC Henley Interim Chairman Neill Hendry said “The new kits look fantastic, and I know that our players are so excited to wear them when the season kicks-off, a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes to facilitate matches and the support of our sponsors really helps.
This is such an exciting time for the club, with lots of initiatives underway that will in no doubt help grow grassroots football in Henley”.
