AFC Henley hosts Holiday Camps every half term and school holiday on the grass at Jubilee Park or the all-weather astroturf opposite Tesco, Henley on Thames, RG9 4HA. Catering for boys and girls aged 5 to 14 years old, our school holiday camps are extremely popular with children of all abilities and open to both AFC Henley and non-AFC Henley members. Everyone is welcome!

Giving participants the chance to learn the fundamentals of the beautiful game from professional coaches is the perfect way to keep your children entertained, safe and active during the holiday period - as well as a great childcare alternative.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the course start and finish times?
All courses start at 10am and finish at 3pm.

Where do we need to go on arrival?
On arrival please make your way to the AFC Henley Clubhouse located in the car park next to the Gym next to Tesco.

Can I just bring my child on the day without registering?
In order to arrange the correct player-to-coach ratio we would like all players to register online. If you are having difficulty with the online system or are unable to book please email jack.woodley@afchenley.com or contact Coach Jack on 07525468924

How do we obtain the sibling discount?
Email jack.woodley@afchenley.com to book siblings on camp. Sibling discount is 50% per day.

What do we need to bring?
All players will need to bring a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of drink for the duration of the course. Players must bring and wear shinpads. Apply and bring sun cream if hot.

What do we need to wear?
Please dress your children according to the weather - rain jackets and additional warm clothing for cold / wet weather.
For camps on the astro - either trainers, astro boots or football boots with moulded (small rubber or plastic) studs. METAL STUDS are not allowed to be worn on the all-weather pitch.
For camps on the grass pitches - regular football boots / studs. If it's very dry and the ground is hard - astro boots or trainers may be more appropriate.

Who will be delivering the sessions?
All AFC Henley Holiday Camps will be delivered by Coach Jack Woodley, who many of you will know from our Saturday Mini Soccer Centre. He will be joined by other Mini-Soccer coaches, depending on the number of participants booked on to the course. There will always be a minimum of 2 coaches for every course.
