AFC Henley are proud to have partnered up with Henley YMCA to deliver pan disability football sessions for the FA. Comets football is about giving disabled children an opportunity to play, learn, make friends and have fun! Our sessions are lead by coaches with a lot of experience with disability football and UEFA qualified coaches.
We welcome all players aged 5-11 with any disability that would like to give football a go. We tailor the practices and games to each individual and are focused on having fun. Children can drop in and out of the sessions as they feel comfortable and can take part at any point. Each player must have a parent or carer with them during the session to help them with the activities and help the coaches best understand each individual and their needs.
The sessions are at 4-5pm on Fridays at Jubilee Park, Reading Road, Henley on Thames, RG9 4HA. We have disabled parking spaces and lots of other spaces on the left as you come in off the roundabout. Come across the zebra crossing and on to the grass football pitches.
The FA are helping to fund the sessions which helps us keep the cost of the sessions down for the players. At only £4 per session it is great value! Pay on the day cash or card.
